I began my coaching career while studying for my bachelors in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2004, were I had the opportunity to instruct and develop on-ice and off-ice programs for the Suburban Hockey Schools and Canlan in East Lansing, MI.  Throughout my career, I was nominated and selected by my supervisors and university officials to represent Michigan State's woman's' club hockey team as their head coach, to instruct the "Hockey 1" course for the College of Education, and as a teaching assistant with the "Adaptive Physical Activity" course to maximize the benefits of exercise among children with disabilities.  Despite instructing hockey players from 3-75 years old, I have been fortunate to have officiated for 10 years, and currently am certified as a level three official and coach, allowing for a thorough understanding of different perspective within the sport.

After graduating from MSU, I pursued my doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and currently work for Athletico in Westchester, IL.  As an active participant in the hockey community as a coach for the Romeoville Rampage, an ice hockey official, and an adult instructor for Canlan, I feel fortunate to have shared my passion for game from so may aspects.
