COMING UP SHORT

Your Springboro Men's Varsity team kicked off the 2017 season with a non-conference tilt against Mason this past Friday night. The Panthers came out strong and really took the game to the Comets early on. Springboro had a few chances to get on the board early but just couldn't find the scoring touch. Mason was able to settle down midway thru the first half and was able to create a few chances of there own. As the game wore on both teams pushed the ball at each other looking for the breakthrough. Unfortunately, the Comets were able to find the game winner with under 10 minutes in the second half. The Panthers fought until the final whistle but just couldn't find the equalizer and fell 1-0. Next up will be a Tuesday evening match versus Springfield at Ralph Wade Field.
